What is Visibility?
Visibility in Review is similar to what for-profit businesses call advertising (with some content restrictions - think underwriting in public television and radio). What is Underwriting?
Our content is made possible by foundations, corporations and individuals who provide funds to underwrite content and the general operations of Review Publishing. Most people will be familiar with the public television message, "This program was made possible by (UNDERWRITERS) and by contributions to your PBS station from viewers like you. Thank you." Review provides similar but more detailed acknowledgment of underwriters' support using graphic placements in our publications. Review is only able to fulfill its mission to increase awareness of the visual arts in our region and provide a venue for visual arts discourse through the support of the community it serves. Underwriting is a huge part of that support.
