May 15, 5-9 p.m. Barbara Cleary Retrospective Exhibition Gas Light is one of three galleries on the Historic Paola Square (along with D'marie Gallery and For Art'Sake) celebrating the life and work of the late Barbara Cleary with a retrospective exhibition of her entire life's work. Cleary was a prominent member of the Paola community, and her work recently has been accepted into the collections of the Spencer Museum and the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art and is in countless private collections. Twenty-five percent of the proceeds generated from sales will go to the Paola school district to further fund arts education.
