"This wonderful exhibit celebrates the colorful and loving holiday of Mexico.  The exhibit hosts altars created by local artists and families as well as a display of Day of the Dead inspired works of art.  The evening's festivities include live music, food and fun! Come dressed as a your own Day of the Dead inspired character, and experience the celebration, memories, love and creativity!"

Day of the Dead Street Festival: October 8, 1-9 p.m. The largest and longest running Day of the Dead Festival in Kansas City includes live entertainment hosted by MC's Manny Martinez & Viviana Medellin from Taste of Tejano KKFI, delicious food from Ricos Tacos Lupe, and handmade art and gifts from Evil Pawn Jewelry, BB Loco Designs, many other local artisans. Kids can enjoy the carnival area with fun games, face painting and great art activities.  The exhibit of altars and artwork will also be open all day.
