2010 Artist Entrepreneur Speakers Program
Held four times throughout the year, the Artist Entrepreneur Speakers Program brings experts from across the nation to discuss innovative ideas and opportunities for the diverse community of Kansas City artists. This series highlights experiences, lessons learned, opportunities, and the unique issues and challenges faced by artists of all disciplines in the business side of their work. Registration required to attend, and is $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

The Paul Shortt Invitational Performances
The Paul Shortt Invitational Performances feature local artists and actors who develop and perform short pieces based on a changing monthly theme. Past themes have included “Rules and Instructions” and “Disguise and Deception.” Performances are scheduled on the last Wednesday of every month.

March 31, 8-9 p.m. A Night of Fragmented Performances The night will include a series of performances based around the idea of fragmented narratives pulled from various sources such as books, personal letters, mad-libs and movie boxes.
