ARTS ACTIVISM FOR PUBLIC FUNDING(1)

As fiscal year 2012 approaches, the Kansas legislature is still wrangling with the idea of eliminating the Kansas Arts Commission; a crucial vote is March 16. Meanwhile, Missouri’s state government also is working to balance expenditures and revenue for the coming year, and the Missouri Arts Council/Cultural Trust are at risk, of course.
