Rebecca M. Blocksome is an independent artist, writer and cultural theorist currently based in the Kansas City area. Previously she lived and worked for seven years in Central and South Eastern Europe, and her writing has appeared in several Central European anthologies. She holds an MS in philosophy and theory of visual culture from the University of Primorska in Koper, Slovenia, and a BFA in art with an emphasis in graphic design from Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kansas. She also works as a grant writer for the Spencer Museum of Art at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.
