About

REVIEW, INC.

Review Incorporated is a 501c-3 that provides support for visual art projects originating in Greater Kansas City, including Review Publishing and Review Studios.

REVIEW PUBLISHING

Review Publishing produces publications about visual art culture for regional distribution. For the past 10 years, its print periodical Review provided a venue for emerging and established art historians, curators, artists, writers and students to publish critical reviews, editorials, features, and virtual exhibitions. Although no longer publishing a print periodical, Review provides the same type of content in its online publication. Our readership has doubled since we switched to our online format, and as we add new writers, articles, and features we expect that readership to continue to expand.

In addition to our online magazine, we publish an annual Year In Review, highlighting the region's achievements in visual arts in the past year. Review Publishing also strives to work with other individuals and organizations to create unique printed publications that relate to the visual arts in our region. Please visit our Publishing page for more information.

Review Publishing continues to raise the depth and breadth of art discourse in Greater Kansas City and increase national awareness of the community’s vibrant visual art community through interactive dialogue with other communities.

Although Review Publishing focuses primarily on the Greater Kansas City area, our geographic scope includes an eight state region: Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Minnesota.
